Simpsons set

Simpsons chess sets come in several different versions, and my preference was for this one, which comes in a metal tin.

A simple cardboard board is provided with the set, but the underside of the tin also shows a board, so I decided to make use of that.

The pieces are good quality, made from plastoy or a very similar type of plastic, just like the smurfs in my smurfs set.

Homer and Marge are the obvious king and queen. Krusty plays the part of the bishop, Bart is the knight, Lisa the rook, and Maggie is clearly present, clinging on to every pawn.
